CEU Educational Group, the largest non-profit private education group in Spain, launches its new Cloud Computing Programme in collaboration with Amazon Web Services for the first time in Spain this academic year 2020-2021. To carry out this new project, the CEU Educational Group places its trust in Netex’s digital and technological solutions.
This is the first programme that Amazon offers in collaboration with a Spanish educational institution. Its objective is to train future professionals in Cloud Computing in one of the most demanded capacities by companies, the Amazon Web Services Cloud. The programme offers a three-year online degree and will be available to the 33,000 students of the three Spanish universities of the CEU group in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.
The contents of the programme will be distributed and managed via learningCloud, Netex’s new generation LMS, which challenges students through curated, interactive and gamified learning paths and resources. Netex will create all the content using its educational content authoring tool, contentCloud, taking charge of the instructional and pedagogical design, the theme of each module and the storytelling that acts as the common thread in each section of the programme.
The programme will facilitate collaboration among the students to complete the challenges of each module. The students are part of AWS Educate, which gives them access to real experiences with the main technologies and cloud tools.
The Cloud Computing Program covers six major knowledge areas, related to cloud architecture, data analysis and cyber security, among other topics. Its flexible structure allows access to the different modules independently, and grants the corresponding accreditation after completing each module, as well as at the end of the complete programme. The final degree provides the accreditation and certification of skills and competences required by Amazon and other cloud services organisations, thus opening up new professional opportunities.
