Netex is reporting a worldwide increase in commercial interest in its products and services after attending a string of events in its key marketplaces during the second quarter of the year. The upturn has arisen after the team has shown their latest learningCloud, learningPlay and EdTech solutions to thousands of professionals as far afield as Spain, the United Kingdom and Mexico.
Factor Humano Madrid 2018
First of the events was the 5th Factor Humano Madrid 2018, on 17th May. Organized by IFAES, international experts in the development of human capital, Netex was participating for the second time as a Sponsor. This popular event had more than 800 attendees with presentations from over 80 speakers.
As part of the programme, Commercial Director of Netex Iberia, Francisco Rízquez, moderated the round table “Technology and innovation applied in corporate learning”, where he discussed topical issues, such as performance optimization, the mobile mindset or gamification in learning. He was joined by leading HR managers of corporations such as Día Group, Gonvarri Steel Services or Grupo Correos.
Fosway’s Learning Symposium, Londres
London and the Fosway’s Learning Symposium on 23rd May was the next stop for the Netex team. Organized by a leading independent Learning and HR consultant in Europe, Fosway Group, this was a different type of event to the usual conference/exhibition combination.
Instead, Fosway brought HR and Learning Directors from companies listed on FTSE 100/250 together. The round-table format brought together leading experts carefully selected which resulted in a more in-depth discussion on the problems and opportunities key to the sector, providing an excellent networking opportunity for attendees.
Talent Day Madrid 2018
Two weeks later, on 5th June around 750 HR executives gathered at the third Talent Day Madrid 2018, the reference event in Spain organized by Equipos&Talento at the majestic Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid. The day brought together renowned national and international speakers who were invited to reflect on the latest trends in HR.
In addition to its usual exhibition stand, Netex was delighted to be the official Networking Sponsor funding a tables where, in the sophisticated atmosphere of NuBel restaurant, ten L&D guests shared experiences about the most important challenges they face today.
LT Summer Forum 2018, Londres
In the second week of June, Netex UK headed to the Learning Technologies Summer Forum 2018 being held for the last time at the Olympia in London before moving to a new venue next year. The Forum offers an excellent opportunity to meet new people and catch up with industry innovations.
Once more, Netex made a leading-edge contribution with Innovation Strategist Sumedh Kasare presenting his seminar “Change is the new constant – keeping up with the speed of business through Agile Learning” (video available in YouTube), in which he discussed solutions for learning and talent agility, focusing on the adoption of agile methodologies, the power of informal learning and social tools, and platforms to encourage user engagement.
HR Evolution México 2018
The second quarter concluded with the company participating at HR Evolution Mexico 2018 for the fifth year in a row. This annual meeting of Mexican HR and learning leaders gathers around 170 of the best companies in the country where they exchange experiences on the challenges involved in training geographically dispersed staff and discussed solutions for the implementation of leadership models and competence development through high impact e-learning.
Within the event’s Practical Case Pool, CEO, Carlos Ezquerro, was able to present the Santander Mexico success story. Its Executive Director of Attraction and Talent Development, María Enné Uribe Espinosa, showed attendees how Santander has managed to boost engagement of its most reluctant users to receive 1,280 requests for enrolment in the first 36 hours of their project, and double users numbers within six months of the project kick-off, after offering new personalized and gamified learning experiences through Netex learningPlay solution.
